I'm a postbaccalaureate research specialist in the EDEN at the University of Pennsylvania. I received my BSc. in Honors Life Science and a Minor in Psychology from McMaster University in 2022. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have had the privilege to engage in meaningful, interdisciplinary research at various institutions, including McMaster University, the University of Toronto, and New York University.
My research interests broadly examine the effects of racial-ethnic socialization on developmental psychopathology. Additionally, I am interested in exploring how various ecological factors contribute to the development of risk and/or resilience in members of the Black (African, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx and African – American) community.
In the near future, I plan to pursue my doctoral studies in clinical and community psychology!
